Scope Campaigner

Dear Friend

At Scope, we believe passionately that all disabled people should be able to enjoy the same rights, choices and opportunities as everyone else.

From October 1st 2004, venues such as pubs, restaurants, swimming pools and cinemas will by law have to make reasonable physical adjustments to ensure disabled people are no longer excluded.

On Friday 1st October we are inviting disabled and non-disabled people of all ages to go out and have fun - from a trip down to the local pub to a visit to the bowling alley or meeting up with friends at the café - and at the same time complete a simple accessibility survey for us.

Busting for a peeFree2Pee wants disabled and non-disabled people all over the country to tell us whether or not their local entertainment venues are accessible - loos being the main focus, because accessible toilets are a really good indication of a venue’s general accessibility.

To find out how you can get involved click www.free2pee.org.uk.

So let’s all have a big night out and get Free2Pee!
