Feature: School Improvement Adviser Initiative
August 2004 | http://sia.cocentra.info
The running of the Government's School Improvement Adviser Initiative was outsourced to Cocentra.
The website forms a key element of the Initiative - it allows School Improvement Advisers to share case studies, swap ideas and interact in the Forum
So that Cocentra can keep the site fresh, WebImperative have built tools to enable them to easily update the text throughout and to upload case studies and other documents.
Key features of our work on this site:
- implementation of a fresh, brand-compliant design
- accessible and standards-compliant
- the CMS allows Cocentra staff to easily update News, Case Studies, Library and Brokerage documents
- the site is built in such a way as to allow easy updates of menu systems and other content
- code to randomise the display of images on the home page
- code to allow easy sorting of database-driven content

"We were impressed by the way in which our site was developed against
a business-critical deadline, with WebImperative being very responsive to our
short-dated change requests. The result was a professional and
easy-to-navigate site, giving excellent value for money."
