Services - Content Management
What is a Content Management System?
Essentially, a Content Management System (CMS) is a web form from which you can enter content, format it, press a button, and the content on your website is updated.
Behind the scenes, the form is interacting with a database, from where the front-end page pulls the information.
Why it concerns you:
There's little point investing in a website if the content is not going to be kept up to date. Commissioning a developer to make frequent updates is uneconomical in the long run. If you do need to make regular updates and don't have any HTML skills, a CMS is the answer.
Database-driven websites are also used for running forums, chat rooms, bulletin boards, user registration and login and client-only areas.
