2003 - 2005:
Hilary Lewison
December 2005
With
a blank canvas to work from in terms of design collateral, we built a clean and
crisp website for Hilary Lewison's Powerful Presentations company. We created
the logo, sourced the imagery, built the pages and and arranged the site hosting
within a two week timescale.
GreenPeace - Image Library
November 2005
Due
to
our in-house expertise in CSS design, we were approached to produce the style
sheets to go hand in hand with the design of the GreenPeace photo library.
The style sheets and design templates are now in place, and the site should go
live soon.
Thrive Coaching - site updates
October 2005
Delighted
with the site we designed for them in 2003, Thrive approached WebImperative to
implement some new features on the site. These included design update, integration
with Blogger, an RSS feed and CMS tools to enable Thrive to control the content
of all the pages on the site, as well as the daily email.
Cocentra - Gateway portal
September 2005
The
Gateway website is the fruition of six months work. It fulfils two functions:
a portal for schools, and a time-saving tool for Cocentra staff. On the school
side, the site allows staff, pupil and parents to undertake surveys, complete
their Ofsted Self Evaluation Forms online and share key reports with the school
community. For Cocentra, the site now automates
features which used to require significant manual effort.
CRIN (Child Rights Information Network) - CMS
August 2005
Having
already produced the CRIN Children and Violence micro-site, we were invited to
also overhaul CRIN's existing main website. The first phase in this development
has been to replace the Content Management System with a much more useable version,
including advanced WYSIWYG editors and integrated image upload tools. The next
step is the overhaul of the main front-end website....
Tiver
July 2005
The
original incarnation of the Tiver website was a big success, but two years later,
the design needed to be updated to reflect the new focus of the company. We produced
a fresh design aimed at drawing people to their core products and created a graphic
for the home page to impart their new 'secure backup' message.
The Spice Shelf
June 2005
Having
received many complements and lots of visits to the site we launched in October
last year, the Spice Shelf asked us to add an easy to use, affordable e-commerce
solution. We were happy to oblige - users can now buy chutneys and pickles on
the site via a shopping basket, with weight-based shipping costs calculated automatically.
Cocentra - corporate site
April 2005
The
Cocentra corporate website contains over 70 pages, all managed from a Content
Management System built by WebImperative. The site also features a database-driven
course booking system and other features such as online job applications and
CV uploads.
Hambling & Trebble
March 2005
Makers
of high quality hand-crafted jewellery, Hambling
& Trebble wanted a website which
not only looks the business, but offers them functional benefits. We created
a beautiful site for them, with CMS tools to allow them to add new products,
images and text throughout the site and allow potential customers to make product
enquiries.
Ocelli
February 2005
The
new publishing company on the block, Ocelli, approached us to produce a simple
site to publicise their first book. Within a week we had agreed upon
a distinctive eye-catching colour scheme to complement the colours of the book,
and launched the site.
CRIN (Child Rights Information Network) - Violence Micro-site
January 2005
Supported
by Save the Children, CRIN is a global network
that disseminates information about child rights amongst more than 1,400 organisations
in over 130 countries. CRIN asked WebImperative to build a micro-site for the
UN Study on Violence, complete with WYSIWYG CMS. We have since been invited to
overhaul their main website and CMS.
Tiver
December 2004
Having
originally produced the Tiver website in
2003, we added a new e-commerce module in late 2004, enabling users to buy, download
and setup Tiver's new backup software 'RIVET'. The site also provides Tiver with
a Content Management system.
Ingelwood Associates
November 2004
Experienced
Facilities Management consultants, Ingelwood
Associates commissioned a complete corporate makeover from WebImperative,
comprising new logo, headed paper, business cards and a fully-featured, accessible
website.
The Spice Shelf
October 2004
Multiple
award winners in the 'Foodies', up and coming food manufacturers, The
Spice Shelf contacted WebImperative to rebuild their site. As well as being
fully accessible and standards compliant, the new site has an emphasis on earthy,
natural colours and contains food images sourced by WebImperative.
Scope - Free2Pee Emailshot
September 2004
WebImperative
have designed and built a HTML email campaign for Scope.
Fully accessible and standards-complaint, the Free2Pee mailshot is the second
in the series.
Cocentra - School Improvement Initiative
August 2004
This
Government funded programme run by Cocentra,
needed a website to allow the 150 School Improvement Advisers to congregate,
share ideas and practice.
Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund
July 2004
The
'official', authorised Princess Diana website, offers a flavour of her life and
details of the work the Fund supports in her name. The site use a CMS and is
fully accessible and standards-compliant.
Skeleton Clocks
June 2004
Reputed
to be 'clockmakers to the clockmakers' Skeleton Clocks commissioned WebImperative
to create a new brand identity and produce a CMS-driven website which would allow
them to easily add new stock and change text around the site.
Saba Salman
May 2004
Award-winning newspaper journalist Saba Salman
needed a website with a contemporary feel to show off her portfolio of newspaper
articles.
David Hollingworth Antiques
April 2004
This
company of Master clockmakers approached us with a view to producing a design
for a website which could also be carried through to printed formats. The
website allows them to upload details and photos of current stock, without requiring
any knowledge of HTML. Images are resized on the fly.
Thomas Thomas Films
March 2004
This
leading TV production company wanted to be able to upload work in progress and
allow clients to securely login and view relevant projects. The site features
movie clips, animations, secure database allowing Thomas Thomas to create new
projects, allow client login and upload movies and images.
Thrive Coaching
February 2004
Thrive wanted the design of their website to have
a 'natural' tone. Functionally, it had to be dynamic, with updateable features
and randomised content presentation. Features include a
series of nature themed images displaying randomly on the homepage; along with
random quotes and testimonials from the database. The online diary allows appointment
booking.
Blairgowrie Associates
January 2004
Blairgowrie Associates have built a reputation
as professional corporate consultants. They needed a website to build on this.
The site features an integrated UK business news feed,
dynamically updating company news and funky dropdown menu.
See Baby Play
December 2003
See Baby Play wanted to overhaul the look and feel
of their site, and add some more content. The
site makes extensive use of CSS to control layout and enable compliance
with web standards.
Executive Management Group
November 2003
An ambitious startup company, EMG needed a website
which would be attractive to their client base, and which would be built in a
modular fashion to allow for further expansion.
EIM
October 2003
Part of a multi-national group of companies, EIM
UK wanted their own website which they could update themselves. Many
of the public-facing pages are driven by a Content Management System, with a
password-protected members area for privileged content.
Compass Consultancy

As a communications company,
Compass needed a site which reflected their approach: contemporary, yet with
clear messages. We employed CSS
style sheets to control the menus and positioning of layout. Daily-changing quotes
on the homepage.

JSI needed a dynamic database-driven solution to
enable them to add and update content on a regular basis for this charity site
aimed at developing countries. The site features a Content

The intention for this website was to create a
professional brand for this start-up business-to-business consultancy. The site
features daily-changing quotes, and style sheets to control content
and layout.
The Piano Group
May 2003
This marketing solutions start-up group required logo
and branding to be created from scratch. The site features a hidden piano keyboard
sound, with all imagery sourced and copy written by WebImperative.
